Recent amendments:
The population of Ring-necked Parakeet in Innsbruck has collapsed. The status of the few birds in Vienna is currently unclear. Therefore the species has been transferred from category C to category D.

Arctic Redpoll has been deleted from the Austrian list. A re-examination of the only specimen has proven that it was a nominate Redpoll (Mealy Redpoll).
Cormorant and Booted Eagle have bred in Austria in recent years!
Lesser White-fronted Goose has been upgraded from vagrant ("A") to irregular migrant ("U") after a series of records in recent years.
